Reconnecting with your inner self is like training a weak muscle

Earlier today, whilst I was at the car garage waiting for my car to be fixed, I was reading “Psychologies magazine” December 2019 reading the ‘Ask the expert’ page and Maiken Piil, a coach and energy healer, made this comment above, which made me think…

There is so much truth in this, reconnecting with your inner self is a real muscle that a lot of people aren’t aware or conscious of, but it is also important to exercise these muscles of our mind and soul as well as just making sure our bodies are fit and well. It’s how we feel about ourselves on the inside that makes all the difference and affects our perspective and behaviour in the outside world….

By reflecting on the decisions you make throughout the day every single day of your life, you can start to exercise those muscles of your mind and think about how your thoughts and beliefs might be dominating your mood, or your life even.

What decisions are you making for yourself about how you lead your life, and how might this be affecting the lives around you? What steps are you taking to get in touch with your desires? Are you taking steps to prioritise joy and your well being?

Mundanity can take over but it’s the little steps you can take to include snippets of fun, joy, positivity, love and laughter into your day too that can really light up your soul and make your day feel more fulfilling and help you get through the stress, struggles or challenges of the day.

Fill your day with light whenever you can – treasure your time, find those little moments ❤️
